"All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust." -- Peter Pan

They are a magnet. The people that everyone feels comfortable around. Easy going, open minded, spontaneous, hopeful and cheerful. Some might call them naive, but it is that spark of hope that they have in their eyes that drives everyone to believe in pixie dust.

People talk about charismatic personalities. Serious looking, sharp, clean personalities with great ability to speak with confidence; even if they do not know what they are talking about. Example: Steve Jobs.

That kind of charisma might gain you respect, a superficial kind of respect, from people who do not really know you. I, personally, do not trusted a charismatic person. A personal experience with one of the closest people I had in my life (I won't tell you who), drove me to this point.

The people who I really really, and 1000x really like are people who believe in pixie dust. Of course that's a figure of speech. I mean people who believe in their dreams even if they are difficult or impossible. Those people, when they talk about their dreams, you see a spark in their eyes, an elixir of life that revives in you something you killed long ago because "grown ups" told you it is impossible. You will instantly like them and want to be around them, because they have given you back something very precious. They have made you believe again... in pixie dust.
